Thread: 32 or 64 bit for boot DVD?

hi

i've used ubuntu dvd boot computer in situations when or of friends having problems booting windows.

restored computer factory settings , reinstalled everything.

runs great reason ubuntu disk not boot computer anymore.

gets should open desktop , hangs ever.

i'm going download , make new date disk.

computer 64 bit.
guess i'm asking have less problems if go 32 bit version.

if decide install permanently on 1 of other drives go 64 bit, making bootable disk emergencies.

help.

32-bit should boot on computer.
64-bit boot on 64-bit computers.

if going using boot on variety of computers,go 32-bit.

luck

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
