Thread: Best file sync ?

hello all.

looking file sync sync files computer external usb hhd.
looking following features:
- display of files going updated/deleted/created.
- able apply filters. example files not want synchronized such *thumbs, etc.
- should propagate deletion.

have tried unison, grsync, komparator, conduit, lucky backup.

1 prefer far komparator gives list of files before doing change, have not found place custom filters.

lucky backup lets create custom filters not show list of files before making changes, shows small summary.

in windows, used allway sync did wanted.
there similar in ubuntu?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
