Thread: Best way to pull graphics from drawings and put into electronic form

i trying find easiest way turn drawings computer animation. drawings done on paper. have both ubuntu linux pc , windows 7 pc. not have photoshop. know gimp can manipulate images. also, have pen pad can trace onto. don't think efficient way. not artist. need able take images , use utility photoshop or flash change these images.

have scanner. thought scanning each paper drawing , having whole animation drawn out. however, problem forsaw images may not same size. animator @ drawing, not professionals.


thought maybe take 1 paper drawing gimp , have original. then, make minor changes , have whole animation in electronic form already. however, don't know how easy is. programmer , want have least amount of involvement in animation process. animator knows little computer animation. so, have handle also. want easy possible. know in code, can loop , draw each frame if had individual drawings. need drawings easily.

ideas on easiest way paper drawings electronic form animation?

i believe might have convert bitmap graphics (which if use scanner capture drawings) vector graphics -- can manipulate.
