Thread: clonezilla - user configuration questions

hello everyone,

never used clonezilla , don't know it, want try

try make ubuntu image, deployed several computers. questions is: know if clonezilla imaging removes user specific configuration - or @ least gives chance change during process (i.e, computer name, username, etc)?

if not, after image deployed in client computers, there "post installation" way remove each machine can given unique computer name, username, etc?

many in advance!

i don't believe clonezilla want unless start oem installation begin with.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
