Thread: Flash spikes CPU after update to 10.10

the title pretty sums problem. after upgraded maverick recently, flash seems spike cpu whenever run extended periods of time in firefox. when open system monitor, shows process called "plugin-container" taking of cpu. ending process ends whatever flash i'm running i'm pretty sure represents flash plugin.

there fix this?




edit: think accidentally put in wrong section. can move beginner talk/appropriate section?

have tested other browsers

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
