Thread: I cannot change my account details

hi,
have question not concerning ubuntu ubuntu forums. trying change account's details (i changed ubuntu 8.04 11.10) , got message not allowed because either have less 50 posts or don't have privileges so. including 1 have 51 posts first reason ruled out (and honest not see reason why less 50 posts cannot change account details) maybe second. there way fix that??

once reach 50 post mark, takes hour permissions updated. shouldn't have wait long now.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
