Thread: OpenGL library error on ubuntu 11.10

hello,

trying install wxgtk-2.6.4 on ubuntu11.10. have installed freeglut3 also. while installing it, got error message like,


checking gl/gl.h usability... yes
checking gl/gl.h presence... yes
checking gl/gl.h... yes
checking -lgl... no
checking -lmesagl... no
configure: error: opengl libraries not available

how should solve error?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
