Thread: postfix non-auth smtp

hi,

trying setup non-auth smtp relay server. newbie, dont harsh

need smtp relay server without authentication on lan side , send mail authenticating user on mail server (port 587).

tried postfix , able send mail ssh not manage configure accept connections lan.
thunderbird says smtp connection timeout or smtp refusing connections.

appreciated,

thanks.

you need run postconf command , set "mynetworks" whatever network range is. so, example, if network 10.110.0.0/16, set "mynetworks=10.110.0.0/16".

when clients in subnet sends mail postfix, not denied.

run postconf see settings. run postconf -e edit settings.
