Thread: Random processor bug crashing system

hi

have been using various versions of ubuntu on machine including 11.10. have switched mint (lisa) getting same problem (not surprising). on of systems used randomly severe error crashes system , output looks cpu error.
file bug not sure this. here, or on kernel bug list.

please advise. attach screen-shot of error. using 7 year old pc amd 64-bit athlon 64 3000+ , asrock k8upgrade-1689 atx motherboard.

a kernel panic can indicate have hardware problems.

think either cpu or motherboard failing.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
