Thread: Resuming from hibernate with encrypted home and swap

hi,

after reading lots of threads think i've realized encrypting home directory makes resuming hibernate impossible. considered bug or fact no solution expected?
(this concerns ubuntu 11.10 installation.)

it fact.

when hibernate, state of machine saved swap. swap (correctly) encrypted, makes impossible read in order resume.

there may way in future allow resume entering password allow swap read, require further development.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
