Thread: Samba will not load


ubuntu 11.10

installed samba (system-config-samba). when go unity menu , select "samba" prompted password. after enter password, nothing... tried rebooting machine , had no effect.

tried entering sudo system-config-samba in treminal , got:

went software center, found "glade" & "python-glade" , installed both of them.

samba fired right up.
