hi, dual booted windows 7 , ubuntu 11.10 on dell xps 14z. first experience linux, i'm complete newb, far working great! seem having 1 small problem though:

mouse touchpad multi touch, , 2 finger drag can used scroll. i've noticed after logging linux 2 finger scroll function works, , doesn't. @ point seems random.

there new driver can install, or modification make?

, advice.

with rare exceptions, drivers built in linux, , "just work."

dell has forum here, might ask question there.

on hp laptop, right edge of touchpad used scrolling. chance true dell?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
