Thread: An unhandlable error occured


i attempting install openoffice on ubuntu 11.10 os , followed process on site:

, afterwards things became mess, when try install other upgrades or other programs errors. specific error trying install python is:
unhandlable error occured
there seems programming error in aptdaemon, software allows install/remove software , perform other package management related tasks.

systemerror: e:i wasn't able locate file libreoffice-common package. might mean need manually fix package.

not sure help.

i not agree reasoning libreoffice being inferior. in actuality, libreoffice being developed actively , last time checked openoffice development stalled.
of today, jan 2012 i'd recommend using libreoffice.
