Thread: VNC or VM freezes when booting

hi,

i'm using ubuntu server 10.04 initial virtualization installation. using system, ubuntu desktop, virtual machine manager interact ubuntu server trying use host.

put isos in right location ( /var/lib/libvirt/images ) , show up. go , make new vm, use default settings , boot off iso have , when watch console seems show initial screen of starting bios , loading iso, never displays further.

uncertain if vm getting further, or if it's frozen completely.

went take @ logs vm , there no error, thing shows init string used, , vnc string appears correct ( -vnc 127.0.0.1:0)

now, i'm new linuxkvm, , implementation. tried looking up, , giving old college try , can't seem figure out going wrong here.

ideas?

bump
