Why are my cropped images not printing at the size I have cropped them to?!

hey!

 

i know how crop images specific sizes using either rectangular marquee or crop tool. however, needing print number of small images, want compile them 1 document save paper. once image cropped, shows in 'image size' being required size, however, when copy , paste document in attempt arrange on page other cropped images, images come out @ half specified size when print them.

 

is view using, because doesn't seem matter whether set 'print size' or 'actual pixels'?

 

i can't seem find answer this, , i'm sure didn't have problem when using photoshop more regularly few years ago!

hello,

you need ake sure target document , source documents have same"resolution", in other words same ppi.

you use edit>place command, respect print dimensions of source photo, import smart object.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
