AME CS6 will not import Avid QT Ref files

it says they're corrupt. cs5.5 worked fine. updated cs6 (finally) because adobe encore wouldn't work our new hp z820 systems. fixed 1 problem, have another. no matter do, quicktime reference files out of avid version 6.5.2 on z820 not import or encode reference file. our workflow. takes way long create self-contained qt files. applications updated current version.

this happened too. narrowed down "black" media had in our timelines. take out , qt refs transcode fine. did cs6 update yesterday , think caused this. luck on end?
