Blank pages added to booklet

i'm trying print 12 page 2 saddle stitch booklet, indesign has added blank page has thrown printers spread out. can tell me why has done , how rid of it. words , graphics fit on appropriate pages. greatly appreciated. have torn hair out except it's short grab.

you need go int print setup print booklet dialog , check print blank pages checkbox.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
