Can't reinstall CS4 Design Standard

hello everybody,

this error given

adobe color eu recommended settings cs4

error:

error 2.

 

cs4 used run flawlessly on imac i3 3.2 driven bij mac os 10.7

then upgraded hard drive 2tb (it in apple replacement programme anyway)

and upgraded system mountain lion

then illustrator cs4 wouldn't start up, nor photoshop

so checked pages , since not technically inclined chose uninstall version of troubleshooting.

 

this have tried:

1.an uninstall of adobe cs4 items through software, reinstall, no luck

2.creation of new admin account called cs4, same results

 

so

when try reinstall shown

['continue' doesn't help]

 

and next

 

'more information' showed

 

the technical people @ adobe told me not support cs4 anymore.

help appreciated

uninstall again if still installed.

 

run cleaner:  http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

 

restart computer , try install.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
