How to fix ICC profile errors?

i brought photoshop cs6 lately , trying edit picture message:

"the embedded icc profile cannot used because embedded icc profile invalid. ignoring profile" "

 

what do fix this?

please provide clear instructions first time using photoshop.

some clueless individual handed file invalid color profile embedded.

 

you can either ask or demand corrected file source, or can let photoshop ignore profile , assign different profiles file until find 1 makes colors in image best you—by trial , error.

 

you should know color management far easy subject.  if you're rank beginner in photoshop, prepared lot of reading on subject.  start here:

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
