Is The GPU Working In After Effects?

hello,

i use msi gtx geforce 660ti power edition, mercury playback engine enabled in premiere pro cs6 , after effects cs6.

when render in premiere notice geforce gpu used quite often, not @ constant rate. alters 0% 20% 50% 0% quite rapidly of time remains somewhere between 0% , 10%. don´t remember ever seeing getting close 100% (which shouldn´t issue considering rendering demand might not high).

in after effects renders, though, barely see working. stays in 0% time rare 2% peaks, while cpu´s 8 cores maxed out (85% 100% in cores, simultaneously).

does seem right? there way know if gpu working properly?

i monitor usage through gadgets provided in windows 7 home premium.

the rest of system:

i7 3770k

asus p8z77-v deluxe

gskill ddr3 1600 - 8mb x 2

thanks!

the times when ae use gpu massively when using raytrace 3d stuff or plug-ins extensively use opengl or cuda. otherwise ae still cpu-based.
