google friend. though i'm not sure hope learn... html html , things considered written in wordpad, if know syntax... don't need dw create html , if do, stuff dw8 creates automatically using visual editor no longer considered conduct on web. know, flash dead, nobody uses javascript mouseovers or <font> tag anymore , sort of thing. if that's you're after, should focus more on learning ins , outs of html(5) , css on more generic level , consider dw8 - text editor syntax highlighting can arguably find much, better tools these days...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
