the absolute beginner talk link on front page takes locked-down archived one. shouldn't take active one, if it's absolute beginners?

have look. heading "absolute beginner talk" in red near top of main page takes open beginners' forum can post. indeed, can see started thread there yesterday.

"locked down" 1 archive, in black halfway down page, under heading "forum archive" message says, "a read archive of main support categories pre 4/21/2008."

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
