Thread: Barcode 128 not scanning

with ubuntu 11.10 , libreoffice combination managed install fond barcode code 128. able write article numbers in code , print it.

problem, can not scan printed barcode. scanner recognises other barcodes on cans packets.

question: have install libreoffice read , insert code in plain text?

if correct there several different formats of barcodes,and maybe scanner doesn't recognize type using

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
