Thread: Callibrate Monitor - Colours looking over saturated

hi,

installed xubuntu on laptop having moved ubuntu 10.10. on previous ubuntu installation colours showing fine on laptop looking on saturated, massive pain in butt because it's making hard edit of photos. i've been trying calibrate monitor settings using howto:

when end , enter terminal command:
code:
/usr/bin/xcalib ~/.color/icc/default.icm
nothing happens. i've tried using full path doesn't either. because i'm using xubuntu? or following complete wrong instructions problem?

appreciated, if need more information ask.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
