Thread: Gnome weather applet stuck at 36 degrees

the gnome weather applet has been stuck @ 36 degrees 3-4 days now. happening on 4 computers , 6 ubuntu installations between 4 computers.
computer 1 = 10.04 & 11.10 desktop
computer 2 = 10.04 laptop
computer 3 = 11.10 laptop
computer 4 = 10.04 & 11.10 desktop

applet available panels via "add panel" option. 11.10 installs using gnome fall session unity removed.

have been searching solution have found none specific both versions. have tried settings , location options.

ideas going on?

leads me assume there problem somewhere else have not found information. have searched forums , found other issues nothing addressing specifically. have searched using www.gooblubuntu.com no better results.

images applet shows current weather , actual temp weather.com attached.

applet shows updated 12/31/2011 temp not change. showing last update 12/28/2011.
