current serial number in output stream: 12
complete xorg.0.log @ http://pastebin.com/t5x1ngwu
throws 1 error:
i still have fglrx drivers installed, ati card (hd3870x2) not plugged in time, don't want waste power.[ 38.529] (ee) glx error: can not required symbols.
updated xorg-edgers. still have x (*phew*), still same symptoms before
ideas?
//edit: maybe updating kernel 3.x better support sandy bridge help?
ok, did not require kernel update
linux still running on fglrx libgl, had change that.
choosing mesa instead of fglrx in update-alternatives should enough:
and restart x (service lightdm restart).$ sudo update-alternatives --config x86_64-linux-gnu_gl_conf
$ sudo ldconfig
did bit more, shouldn't have changed anything...
purged old links (optional) , reinstalled mesa stuff.
reinstalling mesa things installed other libs well, maybe missing (can't recall which).
good luck$ sudo update-alternatives --config x86_64-linux-gnu_gl_conf
$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall libgl1-mesa-dri libgl1-mesa-glx
$ sudo ldconfig![]()
