Thread: NVIDIA GEFORCE GT520M not supporting 3D Acceleration

i have bought new laptop online hcl, features core i5 processor, 4 gb ram, nvidia geforce gt 520m cuda 1gb, graphic card, can not play simple game of brian lara cricket 2005 & igi -2 online gaming site of indiagames.com, operating system windows 7 64 bit. in dxdiag box direct draw acceleartion, direct 3d acceleration & agp texture acceleartion enabled, website can not detect video card memory , 3d acceleration. had reinstall drivers, working still not able play that.
whereas in previous system, centrino duo, no such graphic card been installed , there able play game quite well.
please suggest me matter there software conflict or hardware issue?
1 more thing had in matter that, whenever open nvidia control panel, in set physx configuration tab, laptop display showing connected intel hd graphics family slot & nvidia gt520m panel empty. message displayed above
optimal 3d performance, plug intel hd graphics family high performance pcie slot.
means?

you have posted linux ubuntu forum..

h/w optimus graphics laptop. i5 cpu/apu has low power gpu augmented nvidia 520m..

error message should concerning..

please don't reply these questions here..but think this:
have been ripped-off ?
discrete graphics disabled in bios ?
hard believe windows7 not support h/w..
nvidia driver recent version?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
