Thread: "Move to Workspace right" makes the window disappear

i have ubuntu 11.10 , running , although nice there still issues bit bothering. have installed compiz , using "rotate cube" in order change workspaces. cannot rid of workspace switcher shortcut on sidebar different issue.

problem has come attention when open window, example folder or libre office file, "always on visible workspace" button not it's supposed , worse "move workspace right" makes window disappear without appearing on next workspace. have noticed, while running libre office file, when pressed button send workspace on right disappeared when tried reopen it, looked still open on imaginary workspace (the shortcut on sidebar shivered when open file open).
possible there conflict between compiz's "rotate cube" , ubuntu 11.10 workspace switcher?? if how can resolve it?? if not else be??

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
