Thread: Where has hunspell-en-gb gone (or any British spellchecker)

hi all,

did clean install last week (using xubuntu). libreoffice spell checker did not work. thunderbird thought american.

long story short - cannot find british spellchecker. synaptic can find hunspell-en-ca, acceptable - has hunspell-en-gb gone?

else distressed noah webster's spellings able help?

i don't have hunspell uk. have libreoffice-l10n-en-gb , myspell-en-gb.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
