cannot create .pdf from web pages X Pro

hmmm. missing trick here.

acrobat x pro.

windows 7 64x.

create web pages chrome

 

so log new york review of books account subscriber.

i locate article marked ' locked ', subscribers only  - view 1 entire page.

the whole article visible - should be, i'm subscriber.

 

i load url 'save web page '  in acrobat x pro

i click on save. doesn't save it truncates article after 2 pages placing nag box @ end suggesting take out subscription. ( have ).

when attempt on articles not ' locked ' save in acrobat x pro.

nyrb web support not clued on this.

 

why happen ...surely acrobat x pro can create .pdf browser content , doesn't have go source in these circumstances?

 

if go chrome , print same locked web page pdf half formatted black , white replica of article in entireity ( no nag box).

 

i'm missing here. please.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
