help! download site files FROM adobe host server to local folder?

following few problems, have accidentally overwritten original site files on local drive.  site live still how had files.  however, recent work has been overwritten older files.  if publish now, up-to-date site overwritten old files. there way download live site files local drive?

you could, in way; it's doubtful files ( html, css, images etc ) of use 'retrieve' site. .muse file artworking file...and not uploaded server. online what's needed publish site, isn't need edit , design with.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
