Highlights & Shadows

hi

 

i looking purchase lightroom i'm new photograph.  please

advise if it's possible select area within raw image bring out shadows , darken highlights.

i once told adjustment effect whole image , not selected area.

you can adjust highlights , shadows both locally through either graduated filter tool or adjustment brush tool.

of course can adjust them globally well.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
