I don't understand the business reason for the CC "sunset" policy

-

if understand new subscription service, if stop paying monthly premium no longer have access of adobe programs.

 

conversely, if decide not upgrade specific version of creative suite package still have use of programs on computer.

 

this new model seems little harsh.

 

i can see point in future may find needs have changed , value of subscription doesn't warrant expense, policy seems make or nothing decision.

 

i find biggest reason not jumping on cc.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
