Install Creative Cloud LR 4 over my current LR 4

i have lr 4 installed , working fine. wanted install or connect version creative cloud version. possible?

can run install cc app manager , replace current version?

do need uninstall current version , install new app manager?

trying avoind loosing al settings , presets , having set up.

which version of lightroom have installed cubby?

 

the 2 versions (cloud vs noncloud) same really, when open adobe application manager, see lightroom installed? date?

if not, go ahead , install applicatin manager , remove current version , install latest (lr 4.4).

 

this uninstall/reinstall process not remove preferences/settings or presets have customized. should stay intact.

 

let know if run difficulty or hav further questions.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
