Nikon D600 NEF files ?

what program need edit nikon d600 nef files ?

have tried opening them in cameraraw? find easiest way access open image in bridge links directly photoshop's cameraraw. can either save image or continue in photoshop.

 

if want spend little more money our business uses acdsee pro. think costs 50 bucks in terms of editing , sorting images it's absolutely favourite use far. have free trial 30 days. version windows top notch. version mac sub-par. nice thing acdsee pro - if don't need keep them in nef - can batch convert images desired format (like jpeg).

 

i think nikon has editing program nef files. when googled came up: http://www.nikonimglib.com/nefcodec/ (this may or may not trusted source - please use own judgement). may worth try.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
