that's cool, details on specific 'market' he's talking about?  post houses 10 or more employees?  hollywood studios?  independent production companies?  broadcast networks abc studios?  global sell through?  can see situation adobe has sold more copies of pp globally other nle, while @ same time premiere pro used in fewer 1% of hollywood , broadcast productions.  specifying parameters of 'market' useful data.

 

i mean, 50,000 copies sold kids uploading gaming videos youtube doesn't mean editor wants know nle should learn make himself more hirable.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
