salutations!

after customisation , little patience i've become used new unity interface. there something's i'd see improve drastically. i've made entry on ubuntu brainstorm , i'm trying gather support here.

instead of having backlight colours either off, on when program running or worst yet on (giving launcher horrible set of mish-mashed colour shortcuts) propose having changeable backlight colour each of shortcuts. lets have loads of folder, application , utilty shortcuts. if assign of folder shortcuts red backlight colour , application shortcuts blue colour etc easier find wanting @ glance.

vote please.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
