Thread: Dual-Boot bootloader question
hello,
installed ubuntu today on computer alongside windows. ubuntu given own 80gb drive, while windows on 3 drive raid0 array. during installation, message box popped saying grub cannot installed on drive "sda" , asked choose one, chose ubuntu harddrive. after installation, had fix windows bootloader windows.
question is, why windows bootloader affected, though ubuntu , grub installed on separate drive? it's been bugging me, don't know if can lead data corruption.

did grub try install sda. raid boot sda or raid partition?
run before & after every install know installed where. run document system on every backkup.

v60 has improved formating , requires code tags make legible. new version zip file have extract .sh run.
install these before running script:
sudo apt-get install gawk
sudo apt-get install xz-utils
