Thread: Firefox loves to crash

hi all,

firefox wants crash. not @ moment, will.

running ubuntu 11.10, firefox 9.01, , have ubuntu restricted extras installed. have no firefox addons installed. have 10-30 pages open.

running ubuntu 10.10, latest firefox firefox-stable ppa. had addons. crashed too.

have feeling linked internet connection. have adsl, speed can vary. internet game play has ping of 400-500ms , worse. "sync" fails connect it's site , ff crashes? used have pages automatically reload too. feeling though.

have ideas can stop these frequent crashes?

what crash looks like. have tried run terminal, have plenty of ram opening multiple tabs.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
