Thread: gnome-panel won't start

i installed gnome-panel again, , won't start. ran threw terminal , got this:
code:

what mean , how can fix it? working before. running ubuntu 11.10 64 bit on acer aspire 5532

i noticed /build folder in message, have no /build folder. in gnome-panel folder (wherever may be)? in there messing it?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
