it's pci-e 1.1 slot , pci-e 2.0 card. should able use no issue (though did have 1 pci-e 1.x board uli chipset didn't pci-e 2.0 cards).

pcie 2.0 motherboard slots backward compatible pcie v1.x cards. pcie 2.0 cards backward compatible pcie 1.x motherboards, using available bandwidth of pci express 1.1. overall, graphic cards or motherboards designed v2.0 work other being v1.1 or v1.0a.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
