Thread: help with boot time....Ubuntu 11.10
so few months playing around virtualbox on laptop ubuntu 11.10. had problems @ time being able read usb flash drive virtualbox went online , find forum spot directions on how work. problem don't have virtualbox anymore , cant remember how or modified work. on startup lot of stalling. when press f11, see keeps saying
"mount: mount point /sus/bus/usb/drivers not exist"
"mountall: mount /sus/bus/usb/drivers [996] terminated status"
"mountall: filesystem not mounted: /sus/bus/usb/drivers"
did how mess startup file , missed spelled word "sys" "sus"?
expect laptop using dhcp address going take alittle bit of time, it's drag me. if have other ideas better bootup speed let me know please. fix mess mentioned above. please!!!!
it looks me if have entry usb in /etc/fstab , set automatically mount @ startup. if no usb present, system searches , takes time. make backup of /etc/fstab , remove entry usb original file.
