Thread: Mebibyte or Megabyte during installation?

i'd re-install os or install kubuntu instead. however, don't know if 11.10 uses mebibyte or megabyte when creating partitions manually during installation?

i believe it's 1000x1000, not 1024x1024.

so, if want 20gib example, 20480mib have calculate install mb 21474mb.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
