Thread: Minimized Windows Disappear (unity)

i'm having problem unity. re-installed ubuntu 11.10, , ever since, when minimize applications, cannot restore them. clicking icon on bar starts new instance, , alt+tab not list open window.

appears limited few applications use: eclipse , vmware workstation.

else experiencing issue , have potential fix/workaround??

i have similar problem on 12.04. have experienced eclipse, , projects run eclipse. don't know how vmware functions, guess java related issue.

me, doesn't happen everytime minimise window. rather, happens randomly when don't.

can reach window moving or minimising windows in way. if happen minimise eclipse window, there's no way it. have kill , start again.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
