Thread: no sound after ubuntu 11.10 install on Mac desktop

hi, installed ubuntu on mac desktop dual boot , there no sound when boot ubuntu partition. volume , sound preferences set correctly. sound card recognized. ideas or help? thanks!

there no sound when do: aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/front_center.wav
