hello,

installed ubuntu gnome 2 didnt much, installed kde4, , trinity (kde3). wanting remove gnome , of components finding commands arent working. found 1 removing liborbit2 but, kdes?

i don't recommend trying do.

typically, different desktops can live on same system without trouble.

user insists on going pure particular desktop environment. recommend clean install. removing quite complex , never without consequences.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
