Thread: Win7 (from grub) deliveres only flashing cursor

i have machine ubu 10.04, winxp, , win7 partitions. win7 partition last built , broke grub. have fixed grub , can select grub menu (except 7) , acts expected.

when try boot 7 flashing cursor , nothing more.

need grub (or win7 files/partitions) partition boot properly?

do need both xp , 7? ask because ran problem , unfortunately remedy removing xp.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
