Application Manager won't let me install apps

i'm attempting install apps application manager. every time try get...

 

"administrator privileges required install. please retry, or cancel install later."

 

i administrator, makes no sense. clicking retry nothing. i've gone far delete adobe computer (mac running os x 10.8.3), reinstalling application manager , starting over. nothing works. have suggestions? i'm getting frustrated...

this sounds permissions problem in mac os.

try creating new admin user account.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
