Captivate 6 not finding characters

i'm on windows 7 machine, running captivate 6.1.  characters show in correct location, captivate can't find of images.  have checked other answers posted regarding characters don't see particular issue. 

hello there,

 

are not able see characters in published project or while inserting characters.

characters same , equal in captivate 6.0 , 6.1

 

please elaborate more on issue.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
