Does Adobe have a download manager or a 3rd party sponsored download manager

having significant difficulty getting adobe download completed , unzipped.

1) can't complete download of zipped files adobeencorecontent_en-us.zip & encorecontentenglish.zip.

2) if successful in download, neither of unzip programs work on unzipping content.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
